How to choose A Refurbished iPhone:
1. How much do you want to spend?
Start with your budget and look at the models in your price band above. The gap between years is smaller than the gap between prices, so a year-old phone is often the best value.
2. How long will you keep it?
If you plan to keep the phone for three years or more, choose a newer model. Apple decides how long each iPhone gets software updates, so check Apple's list of supported devices for the model you're considering.
3. Which charging port do you want?
The iPhone 15 and newer use USB-C, the same as most Android phones, laptops, and tablets. The iPhone 14 and older use Lightning.
4. Do you want Apple Intelligence?
Apple's AI features run on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max and on all iPhone 16 and 17 models. They don't run on the standard iPhone 15, 14, or 13.
5. How big a screen do you want?
The Pro Max models have the largest screens. The standard and Pro models are easier to hold in one hand.

What the grades mean
Every refurbished phone at Fone4U is graded Premium, Excellent, or Good. The grade describes how the phone looks, not how it works. Every grade is fully tested, unlocked, and has a battery health of 85% or more.
| Grade | How it looks | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Premium | Like new, opened but never used, with a flawless finish and 100% battery health | Anyone who wants the new-phone experience for less |
| Excellent | Beautifully kept, with at most a few tiny marks you'd only see up close | The smart choice: near-new looks for much less |
| Good | Honest signs of use, such as light screen marks and visible scuffs on the body | The best value: the most phone for your money |
If you'll put your phone in a case, a Good grade saves you money and works exactly the same. Read the phone grades page for the full details.

Five mistakes to avoid
- Buying on price alone. Compare warranty, battery health, and returns as well.
- Ignoring storage. Each product page shows the storage size, and it can't be upgraded later.
- Choosing a locked phone. A locked phone may not work with your network. Every Fone4U iPhone is unlocked.
- Paying more for a grade you won't notice. If it's going in a case, Good is fine.
- Skipping the warranty. Always check the warranty length on the product page.
Ways to pay
You can pay by card or Google Pay, or spread the cost with Humm or Klarna at the online checkout. Both are run by separate companies, so check their terms first.
