Apple iPad Air 4th Gen 10.9" – A14 Bionic, Liquid Retina Display & Touch ID WiFi

The iPad Air 4th Generation marked a real turning point for the Air line, borrowing design language and features that had previously been Pro-exclusive and bringing them to a more accessible price point. That combination is exactly why it's held up so well since its 2020 release—this isn't a stripped-down tablet; it's a genuinely capable one.

At its core is the Apple A14 Bionic chip with Neural Engine, delivering fast, responsive performance across everyday apps, multitasking, streaming, gaming, and even photo editing. The 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display backs that performance up properly, with True Tone adjusting color temperature to match your surroundings, P3 wide color for richer, more accurate tones, and a fully laminated, anti-reflective finish that keeps movies, photos, and documents looking sharp and vivid rather than washed out under typical lighting.

Photography and video calls are well covered too—a 12MP rear camera captures detailed photos and records video up to 4K, while the 7MP FaceTime HD front camera handles video calls, online meetings, and remote learning clearly. Touch ID built into the top button keeps unlocking fast and secure without needing to look directly at the screen, and USB-C connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.0 round out a genuinely modern connectivity package for a tablet from this generation.

Support for the Apple Pencil (2nd generation) and both the Magic Keyboard and Smart Keyboard Folio means this iPad Air can flex between casual entertainment and genuine productivity or creative work—sketching, note-taking, typing up assignments, or editing photos—all on the same device. Its slim, lightweight aluminum design and up to 10 hours of battery life make it just as easy to carry around all day as it is to sit and work on for a few hours straight.

For students, professionals, or anyone who wants a genuinely capable iPad without paying current-generation Pro pricing, the iPad Air 4th Generation remains a smart, well-rounded choice.
