Refurbished Google Pixel 8a 5G—Google AI, Tensor G3 & 18-Month Warranty | Ireland
Looking for a Refurbished Google Pixel 8a in Ireland? The Google Pixel 8a 5G Refurbished has everything that made the previous A-series great and pushes it further—a faster Tensor G3 chip, a brighter 120Hz Actua OLED display, and the longest software commitment Google has ever put on a phone at this price. It's built for anyone who wants the real Pixel experience—the camera, the AI tools, the clean software—without stretching to flagship money. Buying a Refurbished Pixel 8a in Ireland is a smart way to enjoy flagship features at a more affordable price.
The 64MP dual-camera system leads the way, backed by a genuinely impressive set of Google AI photography tools: Magic Editor for reshaping a photo after the fact, Best Take for swapping in the right expression from a burst of group shots, and Night Sight for pulling detail out of near-dark scenes. The 6.1-inch Actua OLED display, running at up to 120Hz, keeps everything smooth and vivid, whether you're gaming, scrolling, or watching something on the commute. The Google Pixel 8a Refurbished offers the same premium camera experience while helping you save money.
And then there's the number that really sets the Pixel 8a apart: seven years of Android OS and security updates. That's not a typo—it's Google committing to keep this phone current for the better part of a decade, far beyond what most manufacturers offer even on their flagship models. A Certified Refurbished Pixel 8a continues to receive these official software and security updates directly from Google.
Why the Pixel 8a Is Worth Considering
AI features that go beyond gimmicks. Magic Editor lets you reposition subjects, change skies, or remove distractions without needing photo editing skills. Best Take pulls the best expression from multiple shots so nobody's blinking in the group photo. Audio Magic Eraser strips unwanted background noise out of your videos. These are tools you'll genuinely use, not just show off once.
A camera built on Google's computational photography strength. The 64MP main sensor with OIS, paired with the 13MP ultra-wide, handles low light, portraits, and everyday shots with the kind of consistency that's made Pixel's camera reputation what it is.
The longest update commitment in its class. Seven years of OS and security updates mean the Pixel 8a you buy today is realistically still getting meaningful support well into the 2030s—a genuinely rare promise at this price point.
A display that feels like a real upgrade. The Actua OLED panel at up to 120Hz delivers noticeably smoother motion and richer color than the standard 90Hz screens found on most phones in this range.
Durability built to last. IP67 water and dust resistance, paired with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the front, means the Pixel 8a is built to survive daily knocks, spills, and rain without drama.

Why it matters
Original parts vs cheap copies
Every part in this phone is its own original part. Nothing has been swapped for a cheap copy. Here’s why that matters.
Original partCheap copy part
Screen
True colours, full brightness and True Tone, with smooth, precise touch
Duller colours, lower brightness and often no True Tone. Touch can lag or miss
Battery
Full rated capacity, safety-tested, and Battery Health reads correctly
Often less real capacity, can run hot or swell, and Battery Health may show “Unknown” or “Service”
Cameras
Sharp focus, accurate colour, and Night mode and stabilisation work as designed
Softer photos, slow focus, and some camera features can stop working
Face ID & Touch ID
Works securely, exactly as the manufacturer intended
Can stop working completely, and copy parts can’t bring it back
Messages on your phone
No “Unknown Part” or “Non-genuine” warnings in Settings
iPhone can show an “Unknown Part” message that stays in Settings
Water & dust seals
Precise original fit and seals
Looser fit and weaker seals, so more likely to fail early
Resale value
Keeps its full trade-in and resale value
Worth less when you sell or trade it in, and some shops refuse it
Every Fone4U phone is tested in Ireland and covered by our warranty. If a part ever needs replacing, we only fit a genuine one.
