About this phone
Product details
Apple iPhone 12 Pro - Premium Refurbished Smartphone
The iPhone 12 Pro was the point where Apple made a triple-camera system standard on a 6.1-inch iPhone—and it was a meaningful step forward. The Pro triple camera setup combines a 12MP wide, 12MP ultrawide, and 12MP telephoto with OIS on the main lens, giving you genuine flexibility across focal lengths that the standard iPhone 12 simply didn't have. The 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display at 2532 × 1170 pixels looks excellent, and the A14 Bionic chip underneath it still handles current apps and demanding tasks without slowing down.
ProRAW support lets photographers work with full raw files from the iPhone's camera system, and the LiDAR scanner opened up the 12 Pro to augmented reality use cases and noticeably improved autofocus in low light. Face ID handles unlocking quickly and securely, and Siri works hands-free without any setup. The stainless steel frame and textured matte glass back give it a distinctly premium feel compared to the aluminum-framed standard 12.
A refurbished iPhone 12 Pro from Fone4U.ie is in Grade A condition, tested before listing, fully unlocked for any Irish network, and covered by an 18-month warranty. It comes with a USB cable and SIM pin opener. If you've been looking for a Pro-tier iPhone camera experience without paying current flagship prices, the 12 Pro still holds up well and is one of the better value refurbished options available right now.

Frequently Asked Questions
The iPhone 12 Pro adds a third telephoto camera lens for optical zoom, a LiDAR scanner for improved low-light autofocus and AR, ProRAW photo format support, a stainless steel frame instead of aluminum, and a higher-resolution 60Hz display. The chip and display size are the same, but the camera and build are meaningfully upgraded.
The iPhone 12 Pro unlocks using Face ID — there's no fingerprint sensor on this model. It works fast and consistently across most lighting conditions, including in low light and complete darkness thanks to its infrared system.
Yes, for most everyday use. The triple 12MP system—wide, ultrawide, and telephoto—combined with Night mode, Smart HDR 3, ProRAW support, and OIS on the main lens produces results that still compete well with mid-range phones. The LiDAR scanner also gives portrait mode a noticeable accuracy advantage over non-LiDAR iPhones.
The iPhone 12 Pro continues to receive major iOS updates from Apple, putting it comfortably in the current support window. It updates automatically through Settings — no manual action needed.
Yes, if you want a triple-camera iPhone with a LiDAR scanner, ProRAW support, and a stainless steel build at a price well below what it cost new. Fone4U's iPhone 12 Pro units are Grade A condition, fully tested, unlocked, and backed by an 18-month warranty—so you get genuine Pro camera capability without the premium price tag of newer models.

Why it matters
Original parts vs cheap copies
Every part in this phone is its own original part. Nothing has been swapped for a cheap copy. Here’s why that matters.
Original partCheap copy part
Screen
True colours, full brightness and True Tone, with smooth, precise touch
Duller colours, lower brightness and often no True Tone. Touch can lag or miss
Battery
Full rated capacity, safety-tested, and Battery Health reads correctly
Often less real capacity, can run hot or swell, and Battery Health may show “Unknown” or “Service”
Cameras
Sharp focus, accurate colour, and Night mode and stabilisation work as designed
Softer photos, slow focus, and some camera features can stop working
Face ID & Touch ID
Works securely, exactly as the manufacturer intended
Can stop working completely, and copy parts can’t bring it back
Messages on your phone
No “Unknown Part” or “Non-genuine” warnings in Settings
iPhone can show an “Unknown Part” message that stays in Settings
Water & dust seals
Precise original fit and seals
Looser fit and weaker seals, so more likely to fail early
Resale value
Keeps its full trade-in and resale value
Worth less when you sell or trade it in, and some shops refuse it
Every Fone4U phone is tested in Ireland and covered by our warranty. If a part ever needs replacing, we only fit a genuine one.
