AirPods 5 bring Apple's latest wireless earbuds to Ireland, pairing a USB-C charging case with up to 20 hours of total battery life. Designed for calls, music and daily wear, they sit comfortably in your ear and connect instantly over Bluetooth 5.3.
AirPods 5 design and comfort
Each earbud weighs just 4.3g and measures 30.2 x 18.3 x 18.1mm, so you barely notice them through a long day. The white charging case is built with 40% recycled content, including a recycled aluminium hinge and recycled gold plating and tin solder inside the circuit boards.
Battery life and water resistance
The standard case gives up to 4 hours of listening with noise control on, or 6 hours with it off, and up to 20 hours in total once you include the case. The Wireless Charging Case variant extends this to up to 5 hours or 7 hours per charge, and up to 22 hours total, and also works with a Qi-certified charger or an Apple Watch charger. A five-minute charge adds roughly an hour of listening, and both earbuds and case carry an IP57 rating against dust, sweat and water.
