About this product

Product details

The JBL Grip Bluetooth Speaker V5.4 brings big sound to a pocket-sized design. Built for everyday adventures, it pairs quickly over Bluetooth 5.4 and keeps playing through rain, dust and the odd drop onto concrete.

JBL Grip Bluetooth Speaker: compact design built to last

The speaker measures just 6.4 x 15.3 x 6.5 cm and weighs 385 g, making it easy to slip into a bag or clip to a backpack. It is made from recycled plastic and fabric, with FSC-certified paper packaging, and rated IP68 for full water and dust resistance, plus drop-proof protection from a 1-metre fall onto concrete. From September 2025 it is available in seven colours, including black, white, purple, red, blue, camo and pink, though availability can vary by region.

Sound performance, Auracast pairing and battery life

Inside, 16 W RMS of power delivers clear, room-filling sound from such a small body. Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity supports Auracast technology, so you can link multiple JBL Grip speakers together, and the free JBL Portable App for iOS and Android gives you extra control over your settings. The 10.01 Wh lithium-ion battery charges in around 3 hours over USB-C and plays for up to 14 hours, combining 12 hours of standard playtime with a 2-hour Playtime Boost.
